iPhone5 vs Galaxy S3 vs HTC One; Spec & Feature Comparison of Top Smartphones

iPhone 5 & Androids
The HTC One was unveiled on Tuesday ahead of its release date in March.
This puts another strong competitor on the smartphone market against big names such as Apple's iPhone 5 and Samsung's Galaxy S3.
So how does HTC's new flagship device rank when compared against the other two devices?
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the biggest handset with a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display and 306 pixels per inch (ppi). The HTC One follows with a 4.7-inch 1080p HD screen and a whopping 468 ppi compared to the 4-inch Retina display screen with 326 pixels per inch on the iPhone 5. Each of the devices have impressive clarity and screen definition, but HTC's device comes out ahead overall with added superiority in touch responsiveness.
All three of the smartphone cameras are fairly equivalently specified on paper, each boasting an 8MP rear snapper and able to capture 1080p HD video from its front-facing cameras.
The iPhone 5  comes equipped with auto focus, face detection and a panorama mode. The HTC One offers a 4MP rear camera with Ultra Pixel technology that uses enhanced imaging sensors to capture 300 percent more light for better pictures, according to The Times of India. The Galaxy S3 comes with a touch-to-focus feature, geo-tagging and smile detection.
The HTC One is a powerful handset with a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon, a 2,300mAh battery in the tank, 2GB of RAM and at least 32GB of storage. The Galaxy S3 packs a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage base. Apple's device only packs an A6 processor with a speed of 1.3GHz, 1G of RAM and 16GB for the base model.
The iPhone 5 runs iOS 6 with a variety of features that includes built-in Facebook integration, an upgraded Siri personal assistant, VIP Mail and a revamped App Store. Apple's operating system is a very polished platform that is easy to master and allows access to a variety of top apps.
The HTC One and Galaxy S3 run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with a 4.2 update following intermittently for users. The HTC handset also comes with Sense 5, which includes a personalized news stream on the home screen called BlinkFeed that is similar to the Tiles seen in the Windows Phone 8 operated smartphones. The BlinkFeed features a personalized stream of news, social networking updates, pictures and videos that are updated continuously and automatically.
While the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 are impressive handset with top features, HTC's new flagship device dominates on the spec side. The overall experience for the devices varies by user but it is recommended to try out the new HTC device when it is officially released in March to AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.
