Benchmarks American Galaxy S IV reveal 1.9 GHz processor
In the NenaMark2 database, a mysterious Samsung phone has surfaced, most likely the American version of the Galaxy S IV, intended for telecom provider Verizon. Oddly enough, this SCH-I545 features a 1.9 GHZ processor with Adreno 320 video chip, manufactured by Qualcomm. This could indicate that Samsung won't use its own Exynos chips, but one of Qualcomm's Snapdragon models instead. A likelier explanation is that Samsung will only use that specific chip in the American LTE model, while a Galaxy S IV with Exynos 5 will be released in the rest of the world. Of course, we can't be certain at this point.
The screen has a 1920x1080 pixel resolution. Not a big surprise given the fact we're dealing with a next-gen phone and its competition will have similar screens. The NenaMark2 benchmark was run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
