Benchmarks American Galaxy S IV reveal 1.9 GHz processor

It's almost certain that Samsung's upcoming top model smartphone, likely to be called Galaxy S IV, will feature an Exynos 5 chip. This 'octacore' system-on-a-chip combines four efficient Cortex A7 cores with four powerful Cortex A15 ones. The chip can switch between its cores to get the best of both worlds.
In the NenaMark2 database, a mysterious Samsung phone has surfaced, most likely the American version of the Galaxy S IV, intended for telecom provider Verizon. Oddly enough, this SCH-I545 features a 1.9 GHZ processor with Adreno 320 video chip, manufactured by Qualcomm. This could indicate that Samsung won't use its own Exynos chips, but one of Qualcomm's Snapdragon models instead. A likelier explanation is that Samsung will only use that specific chip in the American LTE model, while a Galaxy S IV with Exynos 5 will be released in the rest of the world. Of course, we can't be certain at this point.
The screen has a 1920x1080 pixel resolution. Not a big surprise given the fact we're dealing with a next-gen phone and its competition will have similar screens. The NenaMark2 benchmark was run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
